Qi Gong is meditation in motion, which works with the sensitive and subtle energies that flow in, around and through the body. It helps to build your internal power and sexual energy by mastering the mind, breathing and channeling of earth and cosmic forces.
In this 6-hour workshop you will learn the basics of Qi Gong, ancient Taoist longevity and tantric feminine practices. Qi Gong practice offers you ways to connect with your natural happiness, to restore your energy and enhance your health.
The purpose of the Gyrotonic Pre-Training course is to provide a foundational understanding of the Gyrotonic level 1 exercises and prepare students physically for the Gyrotonic Level 1 Foundation Course. During this course students focus on gaining experience, and developing a personal understanding of the exercises on the Pre-Training Course exercise list.
I'm sure my hiring was facilitated by the coordinator recognizing Physicalmind and it also validated my decision to have chosen this school for training.
I just wanted to remind you that on top of training teachers, you are also building a community of likeminded people. I can't be grateful enough for that!
Joanna Helou, Ballet Teacher (Mat Certification Fall 2015)
As a Registered Massage Therapist I wanted to take your course to remind me of the intricacies of the human body and how we move and hold ourselves. These are things I try to pass on to my clients, to truly connect with our bodies, be kind to our bodies and move well, with intention. You showed me that and so much more. I'm truly grateful for your ability to help me feel and connect with my body so I can pass that understanding on to my clients. It's a wonderFULL thing!!
You truly helped me bring it in to the little things. Connecting to the strength to keeping movement small, really connecting to each part we were working on and connecting the parts in a very real palpable way. You reminded me of the importance of bringing it "in", slowing down, to a feeling level that was very real and gave a lot of strength back. Thank you so much for your very intentional and compassionate self. Thank you for the depth and breadth of your knowledge and making it very real and tangible and whole.
I love your energy, spirit, skill, experience and most of all - your sense of humour.
You are a bright ball of knowledge and I learned a great deal. :)
Thank you for sharing your time and energy.
Kelly Colleen, Yoga Teacher, Director or Programming & Teacher Development at YYoga
Thank you Marta for sharing your knowledge with us. Not just within your Pilates background but with your knowledge of movement as well. I learned so much more than I had anticipated, loved your energy and your feedback. I will miss the stories and laughter and positive energy from our class. I leave inspired, energized and ready to teach some Pilates!!
Kayla Dykstra (Mat Certification Summer 2016)
I feel that the dancing Pilates is a healing methodology that is holistic and based in grounded movement principles. It is regenerative and enlightening and connects rhythms in the body to natural movement patterns. It creates a sense of trust in the wisdom of the body to discover itself in movement and develops an inner state of flow and entrainment to the pulse of one's being. Such a gift.
I just wanted to say what a fabulous experience it was to go to your Initiation 101 Pilates teacher training. I knew you were an amazing teacher but to go through this course with you was such a unique experience. I feel so many things but grateful comes to mind first and foremost. I cannot wait for the rest of the courses.
Melissa Harris (Mat Certification Winter 2015)
Marta is an exceptional instructor who is extremely skilled at performing Pilates, and enthusiastic to share her knowledge and help others acheive a higher level of functioning. The courses were very well organized, with small class sizes to afford appropriate feedback on technique. Each fundamental and exercise was presented with demonstrations and discussion about purpose, and where appropriate modifications and progressions were suggested.
